Chandeliers are everywhere these days….living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and if you’re fabulous, which all of you are, you have a chandelier in your closet.
But even the most fabulous of chandeliers can be even more outstanding when paired with a ceiling medallion. Take these for example…

And remember, medallions don’t have to go on the ceiling. They can be an inexpensive way to create interesting wall art. Check out these fun groupings…

So next time you decide to install a chandelier, don’t forget to top it off with a fantastic ceiling medallion! And incase you are wondering which size is appropriate for your chandelier…the rule of thumb is that you use a medallion that is larger or smaller in diamater than the chandelier itself. This adds a sense of drama. For example, if your chandelier is 30″ in diameter, go with either a 22″ ceiling medallion or a 36″ ceiling medallion. Either way, the medallion is the perfect finishing touch!

I’m with you – a chandelier without a ceiling medallion is like a gown without jewelry. Great post
