Over the past year and a half I have mentioned this client’s “forever home” project a handful of times… As previously mentioned, this home is a new construction and was completed about 3 months ago.

When I posted little Miss K’s “big girl” room reveal last month, I mentioned that she had a baby brother on the way and that I had the honor of designing his nursery. I’m happy to say that baby Dex has arrived and has settled quite nicely into his new room, and today I am excited to show it to you! Oh, and did I mention we only had about 6 weeks to pull the room together?!

Before & After Dining Room Make Over Reveal

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving…I know I did, and I now have a waistline to prove it. Ugh.

Anyhoo, it’s back to the grind around here… and today I’m excited to finally show you this dining room project in its entirety! I was so lucky to have, yet again, extremely amazing clients who were so much fun to work with. I’m not sure how I get so lucky!

From the very beging of this project, my client expressed that she wanted an inviting space with a pop of color… after working with her for only a few days, I began to realize that she desired a bit of a vintage feel, which I was really excited to incorporate into the design.

Dreary Dining Hutch Painted to Perfection!

I‘m headed out the door to have another project photographed this morning, but because I’m quite possibly THE most impatient human being on the planet (just ask my husband!!), I have decided that I can’t wait to share a piece of this project with you…so I’m serving up a before & after of a dining hutch that we had refinished for the space.

I found the hutch at the ever fabulous Again & Again in the Dallas Design District. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the perfect fit for my client’s dining room.

A Tranquil Master Bedroom Makeover

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a sneak peek of a Master Bedroom Makeover that I worked on last Fall. I had the opportunity to photograph the room this weekend (forgive me – I didn’t get as many pictures as I had hoped as this was not my finest hour using my SLR camera).

I have had such an overwhelming amount of requests for online design boards over the last few months! So in response to any future inquiries, I do want to let my readers know that I am completely booked until my maternity leave. But I look forward to returning to “full work mode” in August!!

Nursery Plans: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly…

I cannot believe I’m doing this, but I’m about to introduce you to the room in our house that will eventually be the twin’s nursery.

Why can I not believe I’m doing this?? Because the current state of this room is what my husband refers to as “the man cave.” Now I have no problem with a man cave, as long as it’s done tastefully….this one is not. It’s basically an extra bedroom filled to the brim with sofas from his bachelor days along with guitars, amps, random pieces of furniture and a 50″ flat screen (which he tried to tell me was going to stay in the room even after it becomes a nursery…ha, yeah right).
