When we moved into our new home, we decided to put each of the twins in their own room. Even though I loved having them share their “Gender Neutral Nursery” in our previous home, I knew that they would eventually need to have their own room. Annnnnnd, let’s be honest….seperating them sooner than later IS a great excuse to design 2 new nurseries!Read More
Whew! Things were mega busy around the Pearson home this summer! We recently revealed their Living Room Design as well as their daughter’s Big Girl Room Design, and today we are excited to reveal their son, Reid’s room!Read More
Last week we revealed the Pearson’s Living Room, and today we are excited to reveal their little girl’s room!
Miss Hadley is the cutest, but her room was quite the challenge as it is just under 10′x10′…. Literally the smallest room we have ever had the privledge of designing. Her Mom asked that we incorprate a full sized bed and, of course, fabrics that her little munchkin could grow into. We were up for the challenge!Read More
We are so excited to reveal this project to you all today! This 1920′s Tudor home is nestled in a quiet little pocket of the ever-popular Lakewood neighborhood in Dallas. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a dining, study and kitchen. It embodies the original hardwoods throughout, as well as original doors and gorgeous stained glass windows.
The Pearsons – the most adorable family of 4 – just moved to Dallas from out of state. They were ready for their new house to feel like a home and their first priority was the living room, which is the first room you see when you enter the home. They wanted ample seating, comfort, style and durabililty. It was essential to them for us to incorporate our signature style of light, bright fabrics and to accessorize with pieces that make the space feel sophisticated.Read More
Over the past year and a half I have mentioned this client’s “forever home” project a handful of times… As previously mentioned, this home is a new construction and was completed about 3 months ago.Read More
When I posted little Miss K’s “big girl” room reveal last month, I mentioned that she had a baby brother on the way and that I had the honor of designing his nursery. I’m happy to say that baby Dex has arrived and has settled quite nicely into his new room, and today I am excited to show it to you! Oh, and did I mention we only had about 6 weeks to pull the room together?!Read More
Remember when I teased you with this project sneak peek a couple of months ago? Well, I am excited to reveal it in it’s entirety today! It’s a fairly dramatic “before & after,” which is always fun!Read More
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving…I know I did, and I now have a waistline to prove it. Ugh.
Anyhoo, it’s back to the grind around here… and today I’m excited to finally show you this dining room project in its entirety! I was so lucky to have, yet again, extremely amazing clients who were so much fun to work with. I’m not sure how I get so lucky!
From the very beging of this project, my client expressed that she wanted an inviting space with a pop of color… after working with her for only a few days, I began to realize that she desired a bit of a vintage feel, which I was really excited to incorporate into the design.Read More
I‘m headed out the door to have another project photographed this morning, but because I’m quite possibly THE most impatient human being on the planet (just ask my husband!!), I have decided that I can’t wait to share a piece of this project with you…so I’m serving up a before & after of a dining hutch that we had refinished for the space.
I found the hutch at the ever fabulous Again & Again in the Dallas Design District. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the perfect fit for my client’s dining room.Read More
