Before & After: A Baby Boy’s Nursery Reveal
When I posted little Miss K’s “big girl” room reveal last month, I mentioned that she had a baby brother on the way and that I had the honor of designing his nursery. I’m happy to say that baby Dex has arrived and has settled quite nicely into his new room, and today I am excited to show it to you! Oh, and did I mention we only had about 6 weeks to pull the room together?!
Here is the room before the transformation:
The mommy to be wanted to keep a queen sized be in the nursery so that she could comfortably sleep in there with the baby when needed.
Her only other request was to have a cool, calming color palette so that the room would feel peaceful and serene.
And here is baby Dex’s new nursery…
I chose to do a fun khaki and white stripe on the main wall and to paint the other three walls in a sea foam.
We had the headboard custom made to match the wall color and we used the same fabric on the crib bumper to keep everything cohesive.
I’m in love with the white owl garden stool…it was actually a HomeGoods find!
A great big thanks to my client for trusting me with her baby boy’s nursery! This was a fun project!
**Out of respect to my clients, I decline to share any sources for the designs. Thank you for your understanding**
