Before & After: Dining Room Gone “Restoration Glam”

Dining Room After

To say that I’ve been crazy busy since the end of my maternity leave is an understatement, which is why I’m so excited about today’s post. It feels great to finally reveal one of my latest projects, and the best part is that there is a lot more to come over the next few weeks!

This particular Dining Room project was supposed to start last Spring, but my unexpected hospital bed rest with the twins kinda threw a wrench in those plans…ya think? Luckily my clients were in no hurry, so it was the first project on my list as soon as I was back in full swing.

Their desire was to have a tailored, Restoration Hardware-esque feel….something casual, but still formal enough for those special occasions.

Here is the Dining Room before the make over…

And here is the dining room today!

You did a wonderful Job putting this dining room together. I love the mix of the casual wood table with the glitz of the mercury glass lamps. Great move also on getting your client to invest in the hardwood floor verses the wall to wall carpet. Love the curtain panels too.

Wow! Emily, that room is breath-taking! Excellent job! Are the curtains black or is my computer playing tricks on me? ;) So dramatic!

    • Thanks, Andrea!
The drapery fabric is more of a grey/blue.
